The usage of both running and still water is a key feature of the Japanese botanical garden of Buddha Cottage that contains:
2 koi ponds
1 Buddha papyrus pond
1 square water lily fountain pond
1 water fountain wall
1 very tall & large Buddha grey stone head wall
Koi Ponds
Two koi ponds with coral stone trim provide the perfect haven for small fish that frolic and provide a sense of calm. Each koi pond not only contains little fish, but also 2 bronze cranes and 1 bronze buddha statues, as well as papyrus plants that attract dancing dragonflies all year long.
Balinese Teak Wooden Carved Totems
The Japanese botanical garden holds many surprises within its neat manicured layout, 3 of which are large Balinese teak handcarved wooden totems

The ornate teak carved meditation benched sits on a marble chip base, with two pony tail palms pots alongside with a stone Buddha statue for those contemplative moments in the garden.
