Mature Christmas Palms 

The 27 year old established garden contains several different species of coveted and mature palms.

There are over 12 super tall mature Christmas Palms around the perimeter, a 100' bearing coconut tree shading the Japanese pergola, 8-9 super wide Golden Palms to provide privacy,

and a large Bismarck palm in the back.   

Pink Ornamental Pineapple Plants

The front entrance is flanked by pink ornamental pineapple plants, and one was so striking that BBC Gardener's World through the BTMI initiative chose Buddha Cottage to take part in a segment about unusual gardens in Barbados in 2021.

Egyptian Papyrus Water Plants

3 ponds are filled with these exotic water plants that dragonflies like to dance around.
